Holy Week Worship

Beginning with Palm Sunday, April 10th, we will remember and commemorate the final days, events, and words of Jesus leading up to his death and resurrection.

Palm Sunday – April 10th at 8:45am and 10:45am

We will remember the procession of Jesus entering Jerusalem on a donkey.

Maundy Thursday (Holy Thursday) – April 14th at 6:30pm

This time of worship observes the acts of Jesus and the disciples in the Upper Room. We will worship through a meal commemorating the Last Supper, follow the example of Jesus through foot washing, and remember Jesus’ sacrifice by taking communion.

Good Friday – April 15th at 7pm

We will commemorate the Crucifixion of Jesus as we reflect on His seven last sayings from the cross.

Easter Sunday – April 17th at 8:45am and 10:45am

Celebration of Jesus Christ our risen Savior.

Getting to Know ECC

Ukraine Relief

Donations will be sent to Romanian organizations to help Urkrainian refugees. You may give on Sunday morning by listing “Ukraine” on your envelope or online by checking “Ukraine Relief” on Simple-Give.

We will not meet for ETCH Wednesday, April 13th.

Membership Meeting

Sunday, April 3rd immediately following the 10am Service

The purpose of the Membership Meeting is to approve the Elders’ recommended changes to selected terminology to ECC’s By-laws for the purpose of 501c3 tax exemption.

Membership Meetings are open to the entire congregation. Members are eligible to vote.

Eternal Family Tanzania

The goal is to raise $30,000 to purchase a tractor and plow.

Mission & Outreach is challenging us to raise $30,000 by Sunday, March 27th through monetary donations by listing “Eternal Families – Farm” on our giving envelopes on Sunday morning, or give online and check  the box “Eternal Families Farm” on Simple-Give.

Donations of metal given to Junk for Jesus will also fund the project.

$18,615.00 has been given as of Sunday, March 20th.

Meal at 5:30pm. Class at 6:30pm.

A time to speak openly about struggles of Christian parenting.  This will be a time of questions and discussion.  What are you concerned about as parents? There will be a 5-week parenting elective at ETCH beginning March 23rd as a follow-up to this forum.

Knight’s Club and a class for students will be offered during the Forum.

Meal cost: suggested donation of $3.

Women of Worth – IF:Gathering Simulcast

WOW is excited to host IF:2022, a two day event where women all over the world gather together, get equipped, and discover the next step in their calling: to go and make disciples. The event starts Tonight at 6:45pm until around 10:30pm. We gather again Saturday from 10am – 5pm. It’s not too late to join us. Donation of $25 per person.

2022 Midground Vision

Our year-long focus will be a collective journey of what it means to follow Jesus, be changed by Jesus, and be committed to the mission of Jesus every day. (Matthew 4:19) Throughout the year we will tell stories, share testimonies, engage in conversations, and participate in biblical teaching to learn and live in greater ways as disciples of Jesus. We seek to be disciples of Jesus in every place, every relationship and in every circumstance in our everyday lives. It is how we will carry out or mission to “Share Life and Share Christ”.

The Common Good (Once Around Shop)

Is looking for a part-time, 25 hour per week, Monday – Friday, employee to assist with retail and social service operations. Ideal candidates will have strong computer and interpersonal skills as well as a desire to help people in need.

Job duties include:

  • Data entry of monetary donations
  • Creating and administering content on all social media platforms
  • Assisting with community outreach and networking activities
  • Assist with Food Pantry operations
  • Assist with retail store as needed
