Mission & Outreach 3rd Quarter Project: Operation Christmas Child – Christmas in July

Matthew 28:19-20 “Go and make disciples of all nations. Teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.”

Help take the Good News of the Gospel to the ends of the earth through a shoebox with the Greatest Journey book.

By starting earlier, we have an opportunity to collect more items for our November packing party.  It also gives us the opportunity to shop clearance and seasonal sales for items that are not available in the fall.

Ways to help:

• Pray
• Take a tag from the Christmas tree, purchase 1 or more items listed on the tag and then return the tag with the donation items to the box at the kiosk
• Pack a shoebox online
• Donate to help cover shipping costs and the cost of the Greatest Journey

Summer Kids’ Worship

July 23 & 30, Aug 6 & 13

• No classes for K-6th grade
• Kids will worship with their parents
• Nursery, 2 & 3 year olds classes are available

Promotion Sunday on August 20^th: Classes will resume with kids being promoted to their next grade level.

The Common Good School Supply Drive

Once again the Common Good is providing school supplies to students in need and our support is requested.

ECC has been asked to supply the following items:

• 40 packs of Loose Leaf College Ruled Paper
• 40 boxes of 24 count Crayola Crayons
• 35 packs of 4 count Highlighters
• 30 Composition Notebooks

Items can be placed in the tub at the Welcome Center until July 23rd.
