From Pastor Josh: Thank you for your prayers. My mom is doing better, but is still in the hospital trying to find the source of the stroke. We would appreciate your continued prayers.
Please pray for Pastor Josh’s mom, Debbie. She had a stroke earlier today. Pastor Josh is on his way to West Virginia. Please pray for him, his dad and the rest of his family.

CAN’T BE INVOLVED THE WEEK OF SSS? Here are other ways to have an impact:
LAST MINUTE SSS OPPORTUNITIES:
If your schedule has changed or God has been whispering in your ear, here are some last-minute ways you can be a part of the SSS ministry:
Steve Brown will share how the Lord has impacted his life. All men are welcome. Invite a friend or family member.
A child who seldom goes to church got excited about coming to SSS because he heard that we’ll be doing sword-fighting! That’s part of what SSS is for – to draw children in who don’t know Christ and put them in a place where they can hear the truth of God in powerful and fun ways. It’s also to take kids who are a part of our church family a giant step forward in their walk with God.
It’s about the kid down the street who has never been to a church before. It’s about the child of one of your relatives who used to go to church but gradually stopped going. It’s about the child who is part of our ministry now but their spiritual life needs a jump-start again. For some children, it changes the course of their lives. For some children, it changes their eternity! SO THINK – whom do you know that you could open the door for them to come to SSS? Because who knows what God might do in their lives as a result?
To share it, you can:
Saturday, May 28
Wednesday, June 8, 6pm
June 20-24, 6:30-9pm
Parents can register children entering K-7th grade on our website or by picking up forms at the SSS Kiosk on Sunday.
We have a place for you to serve:
BE A VOICE? We’re doing a recording session for the little kids’ movie-ette and are seeking 3 more voices. If you have a dramatic voice and are available this Saturday afternoon, there are three roles, two for men, in which you could use your voice to create ministry!
LOOKING FOR OCD people: If people have suggested that you are obsessive-compulsive (very focused on detail), God can use that for a ministry of helping to edit the movie! There are some easy pieces of work that just take concentration on detail so, if this describes you, consider jumping in!
EXTRAS NEEDED FOR A SCENE IN THE MOVIE! Join the fun of filming and dress up as a Roman citizen. Walk the “streets” of Rome and be part of the background in a very important scene being filmed Monday night. Let us know if you can join us!
Contact Miss Coleen is you would like to be a part.
Help needed to clean-up the current mulch, install new church signs and replace damaged ceiling tiles. Lunch provided.
Calling all ladies, 7th grade and up, to the first quarterly Sisters Gathering! Please register by May 19th.
June 20-24, 2022
An exciting week for kids AND grown-ups. It’s similar to a VBS but there’s some special things that aren’t your “usual” VBS. It’s where adults come to have fun too. During that week, we make new friends, laugh, eat lots of goodies, and get to know each other better. What better way to experience BEING the Body of Christ! If you would like to be a part of making this week happen, contact Miss Coleen for more information or see the flyer in the bulletin this Sunday.
Our year-long focus is a collective journey of what it means to follow Jesus, be changed by Jesus, and be committed to the mission of Jesus every day. (Matthew 4:19) Throughout this year we will tell stories, share testimonies, engage in conversations, and participate in biblical teaching to learn and live in greater ways as disciples of Jesus. We seek to be disciples of Jesus in every place, every relationship and in every circumstance in our everyday lives. It is how we will carry out or mission to “Share Life and Share Christ”.
Matthew 4:19 (NIV84) – “Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will make you fishers of men.”
Dale Sink will share how Christ has impacted his life. All men are welcome. Invite a friend or family member.
Do you have unused fabric around the house? Sisters Ministry would love to put it to good use! We will be creating drawstring bags to be filled with personal hygiene items for the Preble County Domestic Violence Women’s Shelter. You may drop your donation in the designated box in the Gathering Area or contact Jennifer Sinks at (937)467-1185 for pick up.
