COVID UPDATES
We have learned of another person testing positive for COVID, that was present at church this past Sunday. Although asymptomatic, their routine test came back positive on Monday. This person was serving in the children’s ministry on Sunday and has notified all individuals with whom they were in close contact at church on Sunday. They are now quarantining at home.
This Sunday, we will be holding in-person services at 8:45 and 10:45 with Livestream at the 10:45 service. We will not be holding children’s classes this Sunday during the 10:45 service.
END OF YEAR GIVING
We ask that any year end gifts to the church be submitted to the office by Sunday, December 27th in order to be recorded on this year’s giving statement.
Take time this day to reflect on the first coming of Jesus Christ and His love for us.
We encourage you to take a moment and reflect on this Christmas worship song.
HARK THE HERALD ANGELS SING
Join Pastor Josh as he gives some of the background to Hark the Herald, and how as we Step into Christmas, it’s important that we join with all creation to sing to our king.
Take time this day to worship Jesus Christ, the promised Messiah, who will reign, forevermore.
Over the next eight days (building up to Christmas), we will be providing you with a Daily Worship Devotional intended to help us take another Step Into Christmas. We will be focusing on scripture, and a Christmas hymn/song that we sing as a congregation.

The Birthright of Eaton supply chain is missing a few links due to Covid. Those who normally help replenish supplies have been stretched to the breaking point. Let’s link arms with them to help meet these needs for the community. Contributions can be dropped off at their office, 212 E. High St., Eaton or at the drop box on their porch. (Volunteers check the box regularly.)

Due to multiple positive cases of Covid-19 in the congregation, Sunday, December 13 worship will be Livestream only at 10am. All group gatherings including children, youth and basketball are canceled through Saturday, December 19.
As a way of expressing God’s love to those in need, ECC has adopted families to help provide gifts for their children. Wednesday, December 16 is the last day to give.
How to participate: Download this document and follow the instructions. We have also set up a giving website. Each family is listed on a different calendar date (all dates are after Dec 16). You can access a family’s story and needs by clicking on a date. Please be sure to check out the information in the “Special Notes” section.

Congratulations to Lou Driggs, Chad Miley, Kenny Rogers, Steve Reynolds, Dan Holmes, Adam Curry, Doyle Brower and Bob Jones for completing a 16 week men’s small group discipleship course. During these 16 weeks the men participated in learning Biblical principles to become more like Jesus as men of God. They also developed specific plans on how to live those principles out in their family, church, jobs, and community. Thanks for making this commitment to grow and embodying the value of “Equipping One Another”.
Pastor Dan shares about the Christmas Giving Project, and also some important news concerning gatherings and COVID-19.
