The youth of Eaton Community Church spent the month of March serving in different capacities in place of their normal gatherings on Sunday evenings. On March 7th, we served the church by clearing out the items underneath the stage and organizing the barn.
On March 14th, we spent the evening helping Junk for Jesus collect scrap metal to be used for building a home in Tanzania through Eternal Families. We managed to raise $1,371 for home #3!
On March 21st, we spent time making encouragement cards for families and individuals who’ve experienced difficult times in the last year.
On March 28th, we participated in a Prayer Walk at Crystal Lake. Please continue to pray for us as we find ways to serve.
Thanks to your generous giving, we raised over $5,000 through our Money Wall fundraiser. Thank you!!

We have been on a search to hire a staff member to provide leadership in worship and technical arts for over two years. for the last 6 months, we have been in conversation with Brian Duncan from our congregation to effectively fill these responsibilities. We are excited to announce that the elders have hire Brian to serve in a full-time position as Worship Arts and Technical Director beginning April 1.
Brian and his family have attended ECC for over 11 years and he has served in the Worship Arts Ministry in multiple capacities for about 10 years. For the last year, Brian has been working 10+ hours a week to assist in worship and technical arts leadership. Brian’s staff role will have 3 primary capacities – Leadership of Worship Arts, Leadership of Technical arts (including audio, livestream and video elements), and maintenance (as Rick Springer is retiring). While Brian’s role is not a pastoral role, Brian will serve as a leader and point person in these areas of ministry. He will be equipping others and coordinating teams to serve in these ministry areas as we carry out our mission of “Sharing Life, Sharing Christ.”
We are grateful for Brian’s commitment to the Lord and we welcome him onto our staff in this new adventure in ministry. There has been much time, prayer, and energy put into this decision and we are encouraged to see God working in this way. Welcome Brian!

Church Family and Friends,
As you have likely heard, we have several in our congregation who have tested positive for COVID over the last several weeks. We wanted everyone to know that these cases have included some who have not been present in activities or services over the last 7-10 days and a few who have been present. We continue to notify anyone who has been in direct contact with someone who has tested positive. Thankfully, the bigger picture continues to show overall improvement with more vaccinations and less cases in our community. Please continue to participate in the prescribed practices to help keep everyone healthy. Finally, please be praying for healing for those who have tested positive and for the end of this virus.
Blessings and peace to you all,
Pastor Dan
