Membership Class

Sundays, April 11 – May 2 from 12:30 – 2:30 pm and Sunday, May 16 from 12:30 – 3:30pm in Rm 101

Lunch will be provided.

This class is a time for you to learn more about ECC and God’s call upon our church. Upon completion of the class, you will have the opportunity to become a covenant member of ECC.

Youth Fundraiser – “Money Wall”

Sunday, March 28th is the last day for the “Money Wall”. The goal is to take at least one envelope and donate that amount to the youth group. Students are available to explain how the donations will be used. They would love to serve you in any way to help earn the money. Just ask! Thank you for your support.

Food Pantry

Current needs:

• Oatmeal – variety packs
• Tuna
• Canned peas, mixed vegetables
• Shampoo, conditioner
• Toilet paper

Please place all items in the grocery cart in the entryway. Thank you for your generous giving!

• Beyond Sunday – Living What We Learn
• Jesus and the Movies
• Knights Club for kids ages 4 – 6th grade will continue

You do not need to register for the adult classes. You do need to register each week on our website for the meal.

There are low income seniors in the community in need of small home repairs. Regardless of your skill level, these projects make a big impact! Call H.I.T. Foundation, 937-472-0500, ext. 408 to find our how to help.

Spring Electives start Wednesday, March 24. Dinner starts at 5:30pm and classes begin at 6:30pm.

There will be 2 adult elective classes:

• Beyond Sunday – Living What We Learn
• Jesus and the Movies

You do not need to register for the classes. You do need to register if you want a meal.

Council on Aging

Items are being collected to give senior adults a goodie bag.  If you would like to donate, please place items in the basket in the Gathering Area by Wed, Mar 10.

Some Suggested Items: Travel size tissues, Large Print Crosswords, Hand sanitizer, Lip balm, Hot chocolate packets, Tea bags, Socks, Mittens, Travel size lotions/soap, Toothbrush, Toothpaste, Chip clips, Bookmarks.

ECC Students March Fundraiser

For each Sunday morning of the month of March, we will be having a “Money Wall” in the Gathering Area with envelopes numbered $1-$100. The goal is to have 100 people take at least one envelope and donate that denomination of money toward the youth group. You will find students there to greet you and give information about what the money goes toward, and don’t hesitate to ask us to serve in any way to help earn that money. Thank you for helping support the youth ministry at Eaton Community Church.

To help bolster our fundraising efforts and serve the church, our community and the world, each Sunday evening we’ll be participating in a fundraising/service project during DOer Groups time (6-8PM). The events are below:

March 7 – Clean-Up Day at ECC

March 14 – Global Serve Day (finding ways to serve the global church)

March 21 – Writing Grief/Encouragement Cards for those who have lost loved ones in the last year

March 28 – Prayer Walk

Please pray for us as we find ways to actively live out the word of God (James 1:22).

Video Camera Operators Needed

We are looking for people who have or would like to learn video camera skills. Specifically, in March we need people to help with the SSS movie filming. If you would like to serve in this ministry, contact the office or Miss Coleen.
