Men’s Ministry: Promise Keepers
Saturday, Aug 1 from 10am – 1pm
All men are invited to join us for Promise Keeper’s 2020 Virtual Conference (the stadium event has been postponed until 2021). We will listen to pre-recorded guest speakers and have discussion. Lunch will be provided. Please register at the kiosk to attend.
Preteen Retreat: July 24-25

Youth Work Days

The goal of these days is to raise money for Eternal Families Tanzania. Students will be weeding, washing windows, trimming hedges, painting and more. Donations are accepted for any work done.

Projects are first come, first serve. If our project list is full, you will also be put on a wait list and we will do our best to work you in.
School Supply Drive
Once Around Shop will be providing school supplies to students in need. Donation of the following supplies would be appreciated:
- Fiskar pointed scissor
- Colored pencils (12 count)
- Loose leaf paper: wide & college rule
Items can be placed in the tub outside the office. Thank you!

Youth Work Days (July 23-25)
As a youth ministry we do not operate on an island by ourselves. Instead, we embrace the mission of ECC to Share Life and Share Christ. One way we’re intentionally focusing on this mission is through our Youth Work Days. For three days (July 23-25) students from ECC will be making efforts to care for people’s homes, clean up yards in the city, wash windows, split wood… you name it and we’ll do it!
Our goal is to not only care for our church community, the city of Eaton, but also raise money for Eternal Families. Eternal Families is a ministry that exists to give a Mom and a Dad to the orphan children in Tanzania. For more information, be sure to visit their Facebook page.
If you have a friend or neighbor who needs help, maybe consider setting up a project with them, and donating on their behalf. If you, yourself, have work needing done we would be glad to help! We are currently looking for 6-10 projects to complete. Each day (July 23-25) we will have two work parties that will work for 2 and a half hours each. One crew in the morning (9:00-11:30AM) and another in the afternoon (1:00-3:30PM).

Eternal Families Tanzania Project
ECC is still partnering with Eternal Families Tanzania to finance a home. We have set a goal to raise $40,000. To give to this project, list “Eternal Families Tanzania” on your giving envelope or online on SimpleGive. Also, unwanted metal can be given to Junk for Jesus to help fund the project. - Please pre-register kids (entering Kindergarten – entering 7th grade) on our website. Class size is limited to 9 kids per class

Sunday Morning Worship
- We are offering one service with up to 50 people (8:30AM). We are offering two services with up to 100 people (10:00AM and 11:30AM).
- Please register for services and Kid’s classes on our website.
- We replaced the metal chairs with red chairs last week.
- We will Live Stream the 10am service.
- On July 5th, we will return to 2 services – 8:45am & 10:45am

Domestic Violence Shelter Needs
Due to COVID-19, donations have been very low and they are running out of essential items. Help with the items listed below would be greatly appreciated:
- Laundry detergent
- Disinfectant wipes
- Bleach
- Dryer sheets
- Twin size sheets
- Pillow cases
- Pillows
- Twin size comforters/blankets
- Toilet paper
- Paper towels
- Floor cleaner

Donations can be dropped off to the office or placed in the tub in the Gathering Area.

MIdweek Update (June 24, 2020)

ONE NOTE: Though we will be ceasing adult registrations AFTER this Sunday, we will continue to have registrations for kids classrooms for the foreseeable future.
