Lifewise is an after school kid’s program featuring Bible teaching, games, snacks, praying together and more!

· Open to all children at Bruce and East Elementary Schools

· After school on Thursdays until 4:30pm beginning Sep 9^th

The changes of selected terminology to the ECC Bylaws was approved. The Resolution to Amend & Restate the Articles of Incorporation of Eaton Community Church, Inc. for the purpose of 501c3 tax exemption was approved.

MENU:

• Pulled pork sandwich or hot dog
• Mac & cheese
• Baked beans
• Brownies/Rice Krispy Treats
• Ice cream

Please sign up at kiosk for a meal count. We are catering the meal and it is vital that you sign-up by this Sunday, August 8^th. Suggested donation of $5 per person or $20 per family of 4 or more.

Bring your own lawn chairs and canopies if you’d like.

We just received word that the parking lot WILL NOT be completed (nor drivable) by this coming Sunday (Aug. 1).

Therefore we will continue with our normal two services on Sunday morning, however, we will need you to use our temporary entrance/exit on 732. (See photo below)

HOW YOU CAN HELP

• First, we are looking for volunteers who would be willing to help direct and assist people in parking. We need support for first service and second service or both.
• If you can help us, please contact Tami Webb: 937-689-3048.
  
  FOR THOSE ATTENDING 1ST OR 2ND SERVICE
• We ask that you please be patient upon your entrance to church this coming Sunday, and be respectful of those who are volunteering to help assist in parking.
• We have handicap spaces available, but are reserving those for any who have a handicap plate/sticker/etc.
• If you do not need a handicap space, please be willing to park where the assistants tell you to park.

We are looking forward to worshiping the Lord with you this coming Sunday, and are continued to be excited about what God is doing here at Eaton Community Church. We are sorry for this inconvenience, but are confident the parking lot will be completed the following Sunday (Aug. 8)

Parking Lot Project

The parking lot repair starts Monday, July 26^th. If you have a meeting or event next week, you will need to enter from 732 on the west side of the pond. Watch for holes in the yard. There will be places to park on the south side of the lot.

The Elders have asked our church family to raise $50,000 by Aug 15^th to help cover the cost. Give to the project by marking your envelope “Parking Lot” or choose “Parking Lot” through SimpleGive.

School Supply Drive

Sunday, July 25^th is the last day to bring items for the Once Around Shop school supply drive for students in need.

Items needed from ECC:

· College Ruled Loose Leaf Paper – 50 packs

· Highlighters – 50 packs

· Markers – 50 packs

Please leave supplies in the tub at the Info Center. Thank you for your generous living!

Since Covid-19 prevented the fundraiser last year, it is a real pleasure to look forward to fellowship and fun at this years event.

The Elders are asking our church family to raise an additional $50,000 by August 15th to help cover the cost. Promise Keepers Simulcast Event

Friday, July 16th from 7:30 PM – 10:30 PM and Saturday, July 17th from 10:00 AM – 3:30 PM
